چکیده
Abstract This paper deals with the experimental and numerical analysis of three-point bending phenomenon on beam composite profiles. Flat rectangular test specimens made carbon–epoxy composite, characterised by symmetric [0/90/0/90]s laminate ply lay-up, were used in this study. Experimental testing was carried out a COMETECH universal machine, using special heads. In addition, macroscopic evaluation performed experimentally KEYENCE Digital Microscope mobile head recording real-time images. Parallel to studies, simulations finite element method ABAQUS software. The application above-mentioned interdisciplinary research techniques allowed for thorough failure material subjected bending. obtained results provided better understanding mechanism material.

Prediction of the Crack Kinking in a Sandwich Composite Beam Subjected to Three Point Bending Using the J Integral Concept
Composite materials utilizing the sandwich structure are a basic family of materials and possess a highly increasing use in modern industrial applications. Since the traditional approach to structural design and material selection tends to be replaced by the Fracture mechanics approach, it is worth understanding the way that the Fracture mechanics approach is applied. The traditional approach t...
متن کاملSize-Dependent Forced Vibration Analysis of Three Nonlocal Strain Gradient Beam Models with Surface Effects Subjected to Moving Harmonic Loads
The forced vibration behaviors are examined for nonlocal strain gradient nanobeams with surface effects subjected to a moving harmonic load travelling with a constant velocity in terms of three beam models namely, the Euler-Bernoulli, Timoshenko and modified Timoshenko beam models. The modification for nonlocal strain gradient Timoshenko nanobeams is exerted to the constitutive equations by exc...
متن کاملFatigue Failure and Damage Analysis of an Anti-roll Bar Subjected to Fatigue Experiments
The available fatigue theories have been examined using simple specimens subjected to bending or tension-compression loads. Therefore, the stress fields have been generally one or two dimensional. Anti-roll bar is a component belongs to the suspension system of the vehicles. In spite of having simple circular section, due to the having several curvatures, this component experiences a three-dime...
متن کاملStructural Analysis of Unsymmetric Laminated Composite Timoshenko Beam Subjected to Moving Load
The structural analysis of an infinite unsymmetric laminated composite Timoshenko beam over Pasternak viscoelastic foundation under moving load is studied. The beam is subjected to a travelling concentrated load. Closed form steady state solutions, based on the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) are developed. In this analysis, the effect of bend-twist coupling is also evaluated. Selec...
متن کاملAnalysis of Thin-Walled Structures Using Torsional-Bending Elements
In this paper a new element for analysis of thin-walled structures is presented, and the effects of secondary shear stresses on longitudinal displacements are examined. Since the Interpolation Functions are based on non-uniform torsional differential equations, the analysis of stiffness matrix is facilitated. Therefore, its ability to produce accurate results with the least number of elements i...
